Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division (NUWC) Keyport is soliciting for a Lab Upgrade at Building 206 and Restroom and Breakroom Renovation at Building 233. The project at Building 206 involves removing and replacing counters, sinks, and counter-mounted utilities, asbestos abatement, epoxy flooring, and installation of a new ductless split unit. The project at Building 233 involves renovating the breakroom and restroom, including removing and disposing of restroom fixtures, cabinets, plumbing and electrical lines, dividing the restroom into two separate rooms, pouring concrete to build up new floor elevation, adding new plumbing and electrical fixtures, wall partitions, accessories, and door entrance to make the restroom ADA compliant. Lunchroom work includes removal and disposal of existing cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, electrical and flooring, and installation of new cabinetry, plumbing and electrical, epoxy flooring, and repainting walls and ceiling. Asbestos flooring abatement will be required in both spaces. The contract is a firm fixed-price construction contract with a magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000, and is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
