Description
The U.S. Navy's Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific requires one prefabricated modular in-plant classroom for interior installation on an existing concrete slab at the Motor Transport Building. The classroom must be at least 15 by 20 feet, unobstructed by partitions or columns, include electrical outlets, LED lighting, Cat-5e-or-better Ethernet ports, external power and network junction boxes, a locking entrance door with two keys, and comply with applicable fire, electrical, and accessibility requirements. The preferred ceiling height is 9 to 12 feet, with an amended minimum of 8 feet. The contractor must provide and install an independent HVAC system capable of maintaining 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit under ambient conditions from 32 to 100 degrees. The scope includes delivery, on-site assembly or installation, securing the classroom to the slab, internal electrical connections, stamped engineered drawings with structural calculations, manufacturer maintenance guidance, initial operator training, three copies of operation manuals, and on-site operational testing of HVAC, electrical, and network connections. All work must be completed within six months of contract award. The Government will perform connections between the power source and circuit box and final external electrical and communications terminations. Insurance and bonding are not required. Quotes are evaluated on price, technical capability, and past performance, with a single award covering the entire effort.
