Description
The Defense Logistics Agency intends to issue a firm-fixed-price supply contract for shore power cable assemblies. The requirement includes two 150-foot DLO 3/0 cables terminated with Drawing AX8982 PC#8 female connectors and two 200-amp Russell Stoll male plugs (part number DS2416MP); eight 150-foot cables terminated with M24368/5 and M24368/1 plugs; and four 220-foot cables terminated with M24368/5 and M24368/1 plugs. The latter assemblies must be crimped and potted, and all items must conform to the applicable salient characteristics and drawings. The procurement is anticipated to be a 100% small-business set-aside under commercial and simplified acquisition procedures, with the Non-Manufacturer Rule applying. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed-price, with FOB Destination delivery. The presolicitation states that questions must be submitted by email and that vendors must download the RFQ and monitor for amendments. If applicable to the awardee, a current NIST SP 800-171 assessment under DFARS 252.204-7019 may be required.
