Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport intends to issue a Request for Quote for commercial silver reutilization and account maintenance services. The contractor will refine silver-bearing material recovered from batteries into silver of 99.9% purity for use in manufacturing new batteries, manage silver accounts, and support related transaction and contract data requirements. Annual estimates include 328,060 troy ounces of high-silver-content material, 582,421 troy ounces of low-silver-content material, 439,108 troy ounces of silver account maintenance, nine transaction fees, and one contract data requirements lot. The Government plans to award one fixed-price IDIQ contract with economic price adjustment and a five-year ordering period using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures. The requirement is full and open competition. This notice is not soliciting offers; the future Request for Quote is expected to be issued under number N0025327Q0001 on or about October 20, 2026, with responses anticipated 30 days after issuance. The draft Statement of Work and draft Economic Price Adjustment clause are included with the notice.
