The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport intends to award a single Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for silver reutilization and account maintenance services. The contractor will refine silver-bearing material recovered from expended Silver/Zinc and Silver/Chloride batteries to achieve 99.9% purity silver in bullion form. The refined silver will be credited to government accounts and transferred to battery manufacturers as directed. The contractor must also maintain electronic accounts for the government, report on materials received and processed, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations. The contract will have a five-year ordering period and will be fixed-price with economic price adjustment based on the LBMA silver price. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about October 1, 2026, with responses due 30 days later.
