Description
The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a qualified construction management consultant for the entire Phase 1 delivery period of its Downtown Project. Services include pre-construction and design-phase support, constructability and construction-feasibility reviews, cost and schedule analysis, sequencing and staging recommendations, utility and stakeholder coordination, bidding and award assistance, construction management, project documentation, schedule monitoring, change-order and issue management, punch-list support, and project closeout. Phase 1 is expected to include realignment of a reinforced-concrete-box culvert for the Ventura County Watershed Protection District, on-site civil improvements, roadway encroachment improvements, public utility improvements, and partial demolition of non-structural Civic Arts Plaza elements. The project is planned in multiple phases, including future private mixed-use development, park renovations, City Hall adaptive reuse, and an amphitheater; the City may amend the agreement to add future-phase services subject to approval, funding, performance, and procurement requirements. The selected firm must demonstrate experience with developer-funded or developer-coordinated infrastructure, municipal public works, public right-of-way improvements, utility coordination, and stakeholder coordination.
