Description
Edgecombe County is soliciting bids for replacement Scale Computing hyperconverged infrastructure at its Administration Building and Sheriff's Office. The scope includes furnishing hardware, software, licenses, support agreements, networking components, and accessories; rack mounting and installation; network connectivity; cluster configuration; and integration with existing County infrastructure. The systems must include three nodes at each site, specified processor, memory, storage, and 10/25GbE networking capabilities, along with Layer 3 switches, transceivers, and fiber patch cables. Scale hardware, software, and support must be ordered on a five-year financing plan, while network equipment will be purchased outright and invoiced separately for each location. The vendor must review the existing environments, develop and execute a migration plan, migrate designated virtual machines and workloads, coordinate downtime, verify system operation, snapshots, replication, and network connectivity, and provide configuration documentation and knowledge transfer. Bidders must provide applicable licenses, manufacturer authorizations or certifications, a completed cost proposal or equivalent bid sheet, a five-year finance proposal, and at least three comparable project references. A certificate of liability insurance showing at least $1,000,000 in general liability coverage and workers' compensation coverage is required within ten days after award.
