Description
Chippewa Valley Schools is soliciting competitive bids for the purchase and delivery of various custodial equipment for district facilities. Requested items include commercial riding and walk-behind floor scrubbers, an autonomous floor scrubber, swing machines, carpet extractors and encapsulation machines, carpet air movers, corded and cordless backpack vacuums, upright and wet/dry vacuums, a multipurpose cleaning machine, a walk-behind sweeper, trash containers and dollies, and custodial carts. Bidders may offer the specified models or approved equivalents, and may bid on all or individual equipment items. Equipment must be new, meet or exceed the stated specifications, and include required accessories, manuals, warranty information, delivery, setup, training, and support as applicable. Bidders must provide firm unit pricing, manufacturer and model information, specifications, warranty and service details, delivery timelines, written manufacturer warrantability confirmation, and at least three references from other Michigan school districts involving similar equipment within the past five years. The district may adjust quantities, award by item, and select a proposal that best meets its needs rather than the lowest price. The bid must include the furnished proposal and pricing forms and required affidavits, including notarized Iran-linked-business and familial-disclosure affidavits. Insurance certificates are required from the awarded vendor at contract execution, not with the bid.
