Description
The Charter Township of Chesterfield is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms and contractors for the demolition of two existing Brandenburg Park structures and the design and rebuilding of a modern facilities and public safety maintenance building. The facility will include administrative and staff workspaces, utility rooms, heavy-equipment storage bays, and a specialized pull-through bay for Marine 1, the Township’s public-safety watercraft. The scope includes site evaluation and demolition planning; schematic design and space programming; structural and civil engineering; stormwater management; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design; permitting support; final construction documents and technical specifications; bidding support; and an alternate for construction administration, submittal reviews, and project closeout. The project also requires compliance with applicable grant requirements, including documentation, reporting, eligible-cost requirements, and project milestones. Appendix B requires bidders to provide pricing for the listed phases and related surveying and construction-staking services.
