Description
Weld County School District 6 seeks a contractor to remove existing short-throw laser projectors, unused cables, mounting hardware, and related infrastructure from classrooms, then install Starboard interactive flat panels (IFPs). The work includes installing Diversitrack slide rails or contractor-constructed carts as specified, mounting the panels, connecting them to existing power and Ethernet infrastructure where applicable, managing cables, and providing required mounting or fencing components. The District will provide the Starboard mounting tracks or rolling carts, project cables, and certain connectivity materials; the contractor must provide labor, installation materials, equipment, coordination, cleanup, and any necessary subcontracting. The project covers Monfort Elementary and Heath Middle School, with room-specific configurations identified in the installation spreadsheet. Work must begin December 18, 2026, and be substantially complete by January 4, 2027. Contractors must comply with detailed safety, insurance, accessibility, school-security, asbestos-awareness, and dust-control requirements, including HEPA controls and restrictions on disturbing suspected asbestos-containing materials at Heath Middle School. The bid form requires separate pricing for Monfort and Heath, and the contractor must provide inventory documentation, punch-list completion, warranty paperwork, test results, and as-built documentation at completion.
