Description
The British Columbia Coroners Service is seeking a contractor to provide body removal and transfer services in the Cowichan Valley Geographic Area on an if, as, and when requested, 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week on-call basis. Services include removal of bodies within the geographic area and transportation to autopsy sites in Nanaimo and Victoria, with return transportation to the geographic area as applicable. Pricing is weighted 78% for removal of one unit within the geographic area, 1% for transport to Nanaimo, and 21% for transport to Victoria. The anticipated contract term is a maximum of three years, from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029. The solicitation includes an attached Appendix B - Response Form and requires submissions by email or through the BC Bid electronic submission system.
