Description
The Port of Bellingham is seeking a qualified wetland professional or consultant team for a multiyear, multiphase project to create a comprehensive wetland mitigation strategy supporting future development. The work includes reviewing existing wetland information, identifying mitigation needs and opportunities, engaging stakeholders, developing alternatives and recommendations, evaluating feasibility and costs, and preparing a mitigation roadmap. Potential later-phase services include mitigation-credit purchases, property acquisition, wetland preservation, enhancement or creation, regional mitigation-bank development, site selection, design, permitting, construction support, and monitoring. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications and experience, work-plan approach and methodology, references, availability, and budget. The response must be one electronic PDF limited to 10 pages and include relevant team experience, project approach, timeline, proposed team, references, resumes or work experience, availability, and hourly rate information.
