Description
The City of Sugar Land is soliciting bids for the Eldridge Park Improvements project at 2511 Eldridge Road. The base bid includes site preparation, selective demolition, parking lot pavement and curbs, catch basins, landscaping, a new waterline connection, irrigation installation, grading and hydromulching of grass fields, playground walls, ADA-compliant sidewalks, bike-rack replacement, and dumpster-enclosure renovation. The work also includes utility adjustments, supervision, project management, coordination, and all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. Two additive alternates are included: improvements around the park building, including sidewalk demolition, bench relocation, decomposed granite, topsoil, and sod; and construction of a 210-by-345-foot synthetic turf field with underground detention, related sidewalks, fencing, benches, tree removal, light-pole relocation, and light re-aiming. Bidders must complete the required forms and contractor acknowledgment through the procurement portal and comply with the contract's insurance requirements if awarded.
