Description
Chatham County seeks qualified nonprofit, for-profit, or governmental providers to implement and manage Thinking for a Change (T4C), an evidence-based cognitive-behavioral intervention for youth ages 11-17 involved in the juvenile justice system. The program is intended to reduce recidivism and address criminogenic thinking patterns among moderate- to high-risk youth under court custody or supervision. The selected provider will manage two cohorts serving 15 youth during the program year; provide a suitable facilitation space for in-person sessions; deliver 25 lessons of up to two hours each per youth; recruit, train, supervise, and monitor facilitators; ensure fidelity to the T4C model; develop a policy and procedures manual; coordinate referrals and stakeholders; maintain web-based data tracking; submit monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports; and oversee procurement and subcontracted provider agencies. Transportation, snacks, incentives, facilitator costs, and other program expenses must be addressed in an itemized budget. Services must commence no later than December 1, 2026, and the contract is stated to remain in effect through June 30, 2027.
