Description
The Savannah Airport Commission seeks one new, unused tractor with a compatible front-mounted, two-stage snow blower for year-round airport operations, including snow removal, mowing, airfield maintenance, and vegetation management. The tractor must include front and rear PTOs and three-point hitches, four-wheel drive, a turbocharged diesel engine with at least 120 PTO horsepower, specified hydraulic, lighting, tire, weight, transmission, and emissions capabilities, and a snow blower with at least a 96-inch clearing width, 36-inch housing height, 24-inch auger, 30-inch impeller, hydraulic chute controls, and the ability to handle heavy, wet, compacted, and wind-driven snow. The unit must be new, fully assembled, installed, serviced, and operational upon delivery, with all required components, accessories, manuals, preventive-maintenance information, four key sets, and manufacturer warranty included. Bidders must provide specifications for the proposed unit, estimated delivery timeframe, warranty information, maintenance-service location, itemized pricing, and any exceptions. The bidder must be a bona fide wholesale stocking distributor, dealer, or manufacturer capable of fulfilling the solicitation requirements; the Commission will generally award to the most responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest cost. Optional onsite training may be requested upon delivery.
