Description
Chatham County is soliciting bids for new, current-production commercial-duty furniture for multiple fire stations. The required items include 56 Twin XL steel bed frames, 56 Twin XL hybrid mattresses, 24 steel nightstands, 72 personal wardrobe lockers, 24 fire station recliners, one commercial kitchen/dining table, two day room/coffee tables, six standard dining chairs, 13 rolling office chairs, and eight bedroom lamps. Products must be durable, cleanable, serviceable, suitable for continuous 24-hour public-safety occupancy, and coordinated in appearance where specified. Approved equal products may be proposed if they meet or exceed the requirements. Pricing must include manufacturing, freight, inside delivery, required hardware, and warranty unless separately identified. Bidders must provide manufacturer and model information, product literature and technical specifications, dimensions, materials, finishes, applicable certifications, warranty and service information, parts-availability information, estimated lead time, and a completed exceptions statement. The bidder must be the manufacturer or an authorized dealer/distributor. Delivery will be coordinated for four locations, and replacement parts must remain available for at least five years.
