Description
Orchard Prairie School District No. 123 is soliciting bids for the construction and modernization of their school facilities. General contractors are required to submit their Basic Bid proposals by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, with Alternate Bid proposals due by 3:00 p.m. on the same date. Proposals will be opened and read publicly immediately after the Alternate Bid submission. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Orchard Prairie School, located at 7626 N. Orchard Prairie Rd, Spokane, Washington. The meeting will commence on site in front of the existing schoolhouse. Drawings and specifications will be available for download on Monday, June 15, 2026, from www.nacplans.com. Printed documents can be purchased at the bidder's expense. Bid Guarantee in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid is required, either as a surety company bid bond or a certified/cashier's check. A mandatory apprentice utilization of at least 15 percent of total labor hours is required, with incentives for meeting goals and penalties for not meeting them. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
