Description
The 92d Contracting Squadron is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for one new, heavy-duty ultrasonic washer system for the Fire Department at Fairchild Air Force Base. This system is required to safely and efficiently decontaminate firefighting equipment, including helmets, SCBA packs, and air bottles, which are often exposed to toxic chemicals and hazardous materials. The objective is to mitigate health risks to personnel by thoroughly cleaning their gear. The ultrasonic washer must meet specific salient characteristics, including a minimum 70-gallon tank capacity with internal dimensions of at least 33" L x 20" W x 20" D, and external dimensions not exceeding 72" L x 36" W x 40" H. It must be constructed of stainless steel, fully insulated, and mounted on heavy-duty casters for mobility. The unit requires a single-phase, 208-220 VAC, 20-Amp electrical circuit. The system must be capable of generating ultrasonic frequencies optimized for removing contaminants from plastics and metals, and include a removable rack or basket for securing PPE items. Deliverables include the washer, all associated technical specifications, and operator and maintenance manuals. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Pricing should include all shipping costs to Fairchild AFB, WA. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Evaluation will be based on price and Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) data.
