Description
The Greater Portland Transit District is seeking a contractor to retread bus-tire casings using winter tread designs. The requested pricing covers retreading estimated quantities of 305/70R22.5, 315/80R22.5, and 275/80R22.5 tires; supplying casings in those sizes; disposal fees for casings unsuitable for retreading; and an attached specification sheet for the proposed winter-style retreads. The contractor must provide a work schedule, demonstrate the local facility's experience and capacity, and identify three governmental or large corporate references for comparable work. All casings must be picked up within five business days of award, and all retreaded tires must be returned by November 6, 2026. Pricing is requested over a three-year base term plus two one-year option periods. The proposal package must include the required qualifications and price proposal materials, addenda acknowledgment, debarment certification, lobbying-restrictions certification, federal-clauses acknowledgment, and subcontractor information, as applicable.
