Description
The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority is seeking one contractor to provide appropriately sized containers or trucks for scheduled community clean-up and tire amnesty events, deliver and remove the containers on event days, and transport, process, and dispose of collected tires and rims. The contractor must be registered in California, maintain required tire-transport certifications and licenses, use a CalRecycle-permitted processing facility, coordinate event logistics, and prepare California Waste Tire Manifests and related documentation. The contract covers an anticipated two-year base term from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with up to two additional one-year options. Proposals must include organizational capability and experience, a detailed service approach and timeline, pricing, required certifications, a minimum of three similar-service references, and either acceptance of the sample agreement or a redlined version requesting revisions. The proposal must be emailed by the stated deadline and include a redacted copy if confidential or proprietary information is claimed.
