Description
The Town of North Yarmouth, Maine is accepting sealed proposals for the manufacture and delivery of one (1) F-550 Type I Ambulance for the North Yarmouth Fire Department. The vehicle must meet detailed specifications including a Ford F-550 4x4 chassis with ambulance prep package, all-aluminum body and cabinets, and various medical and safety equipment such as Stryker Power Load and Power Lift stretchers, a CompX Med Vault, and a multiplex electrical system. Bidders must provide three options: a new truck on a new box, a new demo truck with modifications, or a new truck on a refurbished box. The bid must include a trade-in allowance for the current 2015 PL Custom E-450 ambulance. A required pre-bid meeting will be held on August 13, 2026, at North Yarmouth Fire Rescue. Bids are due by September 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals.
