The U.S. Department of the Air Force, through Air Force Global Strike Command and the 577 Software Engineering Squadron, is preparing a commercial procurement for specialized tools, hardware, testing instruments, software, and associated material parts supporting the GASNTi2 Block 1 project. The attached tool-kit list includes Milwaukee, Wiha, Greenlee, Burndy, GSSI, Hilti, Ridgid, Brady, Husqvarna, and other specified products, with stated quantities and manufacturer model numbers. This is a brand-name-or-equal procurement. Exact specified products do not require a technical submittal if the contractor certifies conformance in writing on the packing slip. Any substitute manufacturer, model, or part number requires prior written approval and a complete technical submittal containing manufacturer product data sheets, a side-by-side comparison against the specified salient characteristics, and justification for the deviation. Items must be delivered FOB destination in weatherproof containers and fully palletized and secured for forklift transportation.
