Description
The Orlando Utilities Commission is soliciting proposals for an as-needed tire supply and service contract. The scope includes sales of on-road and off-road tires; installation on OUC vehicles and equipment at OUC facilities or designated job sites; removal of worn or damaged tires; credits for acceptable casings for retreading; and foam filling when required. Suppliers must provide trained personnel capable of mounting tires of all sizes, including two-piece and three-piece rims, as well as tire repair, patching, and replacement services. The initial contract term is three years, with two one-year renewal options at OUC's election. The selected supplier must maintain an established office within 50 miles of OUC's Reliable Plaza, have at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, and comply with OUC safety, access, documentation, licensing, subcontractor, and emergency-service requirements. Proposals must include pricing, company and qualification information, a service approach, three similar-project references from the past five years, compliance forms, and other checklist items identified in the solicitation.
