Description
The City of Clermont is soliciting two awards for the supply of specified new tires for passenger vehicles, trucks, emergency vehicles, sanitation vehicles, trailers, construction equipment, and mower/turf equipment. The scope includes tire delivery, installation, rotation, balancing, alignment, flat repair, tire recapping, haul-away and compliant disposal of used or damaged tires, and manufacturer and workmanship warranty support. The solicitation also includes percentage discounts for unlisted tires. The contractor must provide 24/7 roadside repair services, including tire changes and flat repairs, with response times of 30 minutes for emergency-priority vehicles and two hours for other vehicles and equipment. Contractors must maintain adequate inventory, provide qualified technicians and mobile-service equipment, submit monthly service reports, and meet specified delivery, documentation, licensing, insurance, safety, and regulatory requirements. The initial term is 24 months, with five additional 12-month renewal options, and the City does not guarantee any minimum quantity or dollar value.
