Description
The Monroe County Road Commission is soliciting janitorial services for its administration building, mechanics and maintenance garages, sign shop, and drainage office. The scope includes recurring trash removal, vacuuming, floor sweeping and mopping, restroom and lunchroom cleaning, disinfection, supply replenishment, stairwell and entryway cleaning, and monthly and semiannual deep-cleaning tasks such as high dusting, window washing, floor-mat cleaning, refrigerator cleaning, and glass-divider cleaning. The contractor must provide specified cleaning supplies and equipment, maintain Safety Data Sheets, furnish trained and identifiable personnel, secure the facilities after each shift, and provide employee and equipment information. Optional unit-priced services include stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing vinyl floors; steam-cleaning carpet; and washing second-floor exterior windows. Services are generally performed between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., with schedules varying seasonally. The contract is for one year with up to two additional one-year renewals.
