Description
Wood County is soliciting bids for the Wood County Pavement Markings Fall 2026 project. The work includes approximately 128.22 miles of Type 1 center-line markings, 204.62 miles of four-inch Type 1 edge-line markings, 23 Type 1 railroad symbol markings, 1,026 feet of Type 1 stop lines, and maintaining traffic. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform the work in accordance with the project documents and applicable Ohio Department of Transportation specifications. The engineer's estimate is $443,700.00. The successful bidder must be Ohio Department of Transportation prequalified at bidding, award, and throughout the construction contract, comply with Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, dispose of project waste at the Wood County Landfill, and complete the work by November 6, 2026. A bid guaranty is required in the form of either a full-amount Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. The solicitation also requires specified insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, professional liability, cyber liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability.
