Description
Wood County, Ohio, is soliciting bids for the NE Wood County Road Improvements project in Lake and Troy Townships. The work includes pavement repair, pavement planing, non-tracking tack coat, stabilized crushed aggregate, asphalt concrete intermediate and surface courses, pavement markings, traffic maintenance, and mobilization on Bahnsen Road, Hanley Road, Pemberville Road, and Warns Road. The engineer’s estimate is $1,061,200. Bidders must be prequalified by the Ohio Department of Transportation at bidding, award, and throughout the construction contract. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, and all waste materials must be disposed of at the Wood County Landfill. A bid guaranty is required as either a full-amount Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond if the full-amount bid guaranty and contract bond is not used. Completion is required by November 6, 2026.
