Description
The Town is seeking a contractor to provide labor and materials for on-call rough and finish carpentry at schools and other municipal buildings. Work may include repairing, constructing, installing, remodeling, and modifying building components and associated structures; installing drywall, flooring, millwork, cabinets, and hardware; repairing wooden structures; and related patching and painting. The contractor may also coordinate with other trades and must restore areas disturbed by the work. The contractor must meet specified response times, provide a licensed construction supervisor on site during work, and comply with applicable building regulations and prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must hold DCAMM certification in General Building Construction, provide five similar-project references, submit a 5% bid deposit, and include current insurance certificates with the bid. The contract has an initial one-year term and may be extended for up to four additional one-year terms.
