ADVERTISEMENT for BIDS NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Public Works of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, that sealed Bids for: Tract 5 North Lead Service Line and Water Main Replacement CONTRACT/RESOLUTION NUMBER 67687 will ONLY be received by the Board of Public Works through its online bidding partner QuestCDN at www.questcdn.com . until 2:00 p.m. local time, on 10/15/2026 . Bids submitted shall be publicly displayed at the Board of Public Works , 200 E. Berry Street, Suite 210, conference room 220 Fort Wayne, IN 46802 immediately following and posted for viewing at www.questcdn.com. The funding source for this project is WATER UTILITY SRF BOND . The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Tract 5 North Lead Service Line and Water Main Replacement as follows: Lead service line replacements within the northern half of Census Tract 5, including approximately 305 water service replacements, installation of approximately 1,720' of 2" and 12,926' of 6" HDPE water main by horizontal directional drilling, hydrants, valves, connections, and all other appurtenances. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by City Utilites Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana . No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on 10/5/2026 at 10:00am local time at the Citizens Square, 200 East Berry Street, Suite 250, Conference Room 255, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46802 to familiarize prospective bidders with the proposed project and to answer any questions. There will also be an online meeting at the same time with the meeting details provided through Quest. Prospective bidders may attend in person, or the online meeting. Contractors may view the contract documents at no cost prior to becoming a Planholder. A satisfactory labor and material payment bond and performance bond, each for at least 100% of the contract price, are required. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN's vBid system.
