The State University of New York, Empire State University (SUNY Empire) is soliciting bids for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Preventative Maintenance (PM) Annual Services for its headquarters locations in Saratoga Springs, NY. The scope of work includes semi-annual filter changes, annual cleaning of exterior condenser system coils, and mid-winter checks and tunes for boilers and heat exchangers. The contract period is anticipated to be three years. The services are required to ensure the proper functioning of all HVAC systems across multiple buildings, including air handler units, chillers, condensing units, heat recovery units, and building management systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and labor for manufacturer-recommended service. The contract also includes provisions for supplemental service rates for repair work outside the base PM scope, with adjustments tied to the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U). SUNY Empire has established goals for participation by Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) at 6.00%, Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) at 15.00%, and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) at 15.00%. The university intends to make an award under its discretionary authority, up to $125,000.
