The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the West Virginia Department of Transportation, is soliciting bids for a multiple-award, open-end contract covering agency pickup of asphalt materials. Contract items include Section 401 and 402 asphalt mixes, including base, wearing, patch-and-level, scratch-course, and Superpave materials in multiple gradations; asphalt plant run material; PG binder surcharges; and off-season asphalt plant opening charges. Vendors must complete the solicitation documentation and provide a separate pricing page for every asphalt plant supplying contract items. Each pricing page requires vendor and asphalt plant information, the plant location, districts served, and unit pricing. Pricing or notes entered only in commodity-line comment areas will not be considered.
