Description
Lakewood School District seeks a contractor to design, install, test, and document E-Rate-eligible structured cabling across four schools. The scope includes Category 6 or Category 6A copper cabling and single-mode or multimode fiber, associated patch panels, faceplates, keystones, racks, cable-management hardware, and new cable runs. Work also includes termination, cable dressing and pathways where applicable, testing and certification to industry standards, labeling, as-built diagrams, and removal of obsolete cabling if required. Approximately 644 drops are identified across the listed sites. Proposals must include pricing using the provided Appendix D spreadsheet, a brief agency background, a proposed contract, manufacturer warranties for hardware, and three references. Compatibility documentation is conditionally required for solutions that do not match the specified make, model, or parts; reseller authorization may be requested when applicable. Vendors must have a valid SPIN and current SPAC on file with USAC and be in Green Light status. Attendance at the mandatory site walk-through is required to submit a bid, with registration through Appendix C. The RFP also requires fixed pricing for the contract length and inclusion of taxes and fees.
