Description
Community Transit seeks an electrical engineering consultant to conduct a comprehensive arc flash hazard assessment at three campuses. Work includes onsite field data collection and verification; development or updating of electrical one-line diagrams; short-circuit, protective-device coordination, and arc flash analyses; and production and installation of equipment-specific arc flash labels. The consultant must document assumptions, findings, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions, and provide a label inventory and installation report. Deliverables include verified equipment data, editable and PDF diagrams, study results and applicable calculation files, draft and final engineering reports, QA/QC documentation, and a final electronic package. The anticipated service duration is no more than three months from project kickoff through final deliverables. The RFQ seeks qualifications first; the selected firm will later be asked to submit a cost proposal during negotiations.
