Description
The Indian Health Service is conducting market research for hospital laundry and dry-cleaning services for Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center. The scope includes pickup, laundering, drying, folding, pressing, packaging, delivery, linen exchange, inventory tracking, and related reporting. The contractor would provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, and transportation, and must process the facility’s laundry separately from other laundry to prevent contamination. Pickup and delivery are required Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, including holidays, coordinated with the facility. Estimated quantities are approximately 6,000 pounds of rough dry, 6,000 pounds of flat work, 100 pounds of finish work, and 300 pounds of dry cleaning; these estimates are still being verified. Respondents are asked to describe their capacity, minimum volume requirements or limitations, quality control, contamination prevention, transportation resources, service area, turnaround time, and contingency arrangements. This is a sources-sought/RFI notice for market research, not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. Responses should include company and socioeconomic information, SAM registration confirmation, a capability statement with relevant past performance, and the attached Indian Economic Enterprise representation form if applicable.
