Description
The Township Committee is considering an ordinance that repeals and replaces the prior ordinance while continuing the existing Special Improvement District and its District Management Corporation without interruption. The ordinance divides the district into seven assessment districts, establishes a differential assessment rate for the downtown area, and revises the District Management Corporation’s board composition and administration. It also sets out the district’s assessment, budgeting, reporting, and governance provisions. This is a public-hearing notice on proposed legislation, not a procurement solicitation for goods or services.
