Description
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, on behalf of the University of West Georgia, is seeking professional planning consulting services for a comprehensive master plan and concurrent Campus Historic Preservation Plan. The work includes master planning under the University System of Georgia guidelines; historic analysis and preservation recommendations for major campus buildings and landscapes constructed through 1987; space inventory and utilization analysis; data validation, analysis, and visualization; stakeholder engagement; and planning deliverables organized within a four-phase framework. The procurement uses a two-step process. Step I requires a statement of qualifications from interested firms. Qualified finalists will proceed to Step II, which requires a work plan, preliminary schedule, detailed allocation and deployment of the $700,000 project fee using the provided fee-allocation template, a mandatory site visit, and a virtual interview. The anticipated project engagement begins in January 2027, with target completion in January 2028.
