Description
This solicitation is for the Stockley MAC Center Roof Replacement project located in Georgetown, Delaware. The project involves the removal of the existing built-up flat roof down to the decking, and the installation of new insulation board and an EPDM roof system. Additionally, the asphalt roof will be removed and replaced in areas shown on the drawings, and existing plywood decking will be replaced in areas affected by the shingle replacement. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time in the Maintenance Building Conference Room at 26351 Patriots Way, Georgetown, DE. Attendance at this meeting is a prerequisite for bidding on this contract. Bids are due by 1:00 PM local time on July 28, 2026, and will be opened at 2:00 PM local time on the same day at the Haslet Armory, 122 Martin Luther King Blvd. S., Dover, DE 19901. Bidders are required to submit a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and a payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price.
