Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is soliciting quotes for alignment support for the USCGC James Rankin. This service involves evaluating the port and starboard shaft lines using strain gauge techniques after the vessel is re-floated. The contractor will need to provide all necessary equipment and services, except for those explicitly provided by the government, such as material handling, water, compressed air, and electricity. The work is scheduled to commence around July 22, 2026, at the Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay, Maryland. The contractor must adhere to all relevant OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Access to some drawings may be export-controlled and require registration in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors must also comply with RAPIDGate security requirements for access to the yard.
