Description
Greenville Electric Utility System is soliciting proposals for an on-call contractor to provide inspection, maintenance, and repair services for Steam Boilers 1, 2, and 3. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and other resources needed for the work, which may include boiler tube, refractory, burner, casing, valve, insulation, and air-preheater repairs; nondestructive examination; code-compliant welding; and rental equipment. Services will be authorized as needed, with no guaranteed minimum quantity of work. Respondents must have at least five years of boiler-repair experience, and all welders performing work must possess 6G welding certification. Proposals must include company qualifications, key personnel and certifications, an emergency call-out procedure, a redlined contract, pricing, references, and a Certificate of Insurance. The contract term runs from full execution through September 30, 2027, with pricing held for the original term.
