Description
The City of Milwaukee is soliciting bids for work at two project sites. At the DPW Field Headquarters, the existing rooftop unit will be removed and replaced with a new rooftop unit. At the Northwest Garage, the existing air handling unit, energy recovery unit, and associated VAV boxes will be removed and replaced with a new rooftop unit, new VAV boxes, and a new energy recovery unit. Both locations include controls improvements, with mechanical, structural, and controls work in the project scope. The solicitation package includes a City of Milwaukee Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Contractor Compliance Plan that is required when the solicitation includes an SBE requirement or when a proposer seeks SBE bonus points. It also includes a Socially Responsible Contractors (SRC) Affidavit of Compliance, which must be completed and submitted to qualify for the SRC bid incentive; the affidavit must be signed and notarized.
