Description
Milwaukee Public Schools is seeking vendors to provide in-person, evidence-based comprehensive sexual health education and teen pregnancy prevention programming for middle and high school students. Approved curricula include Positive Prevention Plus, Making Proud Choices, Relationship Smarts Plus, My Sexual Health Middle School, My Sexual Health High School, and Botvin LifeSkills Training; other curricula may be considered subject to district approval and Wisconsin Statute 118.019 compliance. Vendors must provide facilitators, supplies, and curriculum documents, with pricing submitted as an all-inclusive hourly classroom-programming rate. Services typically consist of 8 to 13 hour-long sessions delivered once or twice weekly during a semester, along with pre- and post-assessments, anonymized data analysis, monthly progress reports, attendance tracking, mid-year and end-of-year implementation reports, parent notification and opt-out materials, pre-session orientation, and parent question-and-answer sessions. Respondents must demonstrate three to five years of relevant experience, urban school district experience, trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices, and at least one assigned staff member with a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teaching license or equivalent credential. The anticipated contract term is November 1, 2026, through October 30, 2027, with two possible one-year extensions.
