Description
The City of Bay City is soliciting sealed bids for concrete foundation work at the 26th Street Substation. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required to submit a bid, and bidders must sign the official attendance sheet. Contractors must be deemed Responsible Contractors by the City before submitting a bid; contractors not already approved must submit a pre-qualification questionnaire with all attachments at least three weeks before bid opening. Official bidding documents are available through BidNet Direct, and bidders are responsible for checking the system for addenda. Sealed bids must be submitted to the City's Purchasing Department by the deadline; fax and email submissions are not accepted. A local preference policy applies, with a qualifying affidavit available for vendors seeking local-vendor status.
