Description

Smith County Emergency Services District No. 2 is seeking a qualified contractor to renovate the existing shared kitchen at the Chapel Hill Facility and create separate Fire Station and Community Center kitchens. The scope includes demolition; new partition walls; cabinetry and granite countertops; plumbing fixtures; electrical and HVAC modifications; ceiling work; interior painting throughout occupied facility areas; and associated finish work. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals, maintain facility operations during construction, provide specified kitchen fixtures and appliances, submit shop drawings and samples for approval, and complete alternate pricing for luxury vinyl flooring and twelve fire-station personnel lockers. The solicitation also requires workers’ compensation and additional insurance coverage, criminal background checks for personnel, licensed subcontractors where required, three references, and an electronic proposal response through the District’s procurement portal.
