Description
The City of Palestine is soliciting proposals for the purchase and delivery of parts and materials for replacement of the water line on E. Neches Street. The required materials include 6-inch C900 water pipe, fire hydrant and valve components, tees, gate valves, couplings, tapping saddles, service tubing with tracer wire, meter nuts and fittings, meter boxes, valve boxes, pipe lubricant, and related hardware, in the quantities listed in Attachment A. Proposals must include qualifications and experience, governmental references for similar work performed within the past five years, itemized pricing including freight and delivery, anticipated delivery time, backorder or lead-time information, and manufacturer/model information for any proposed equivalent products. Attachment B contains project drawings, and proposed equivalents must be supported by sufficient product information for the City to determine equivalency.
