Description
The City of Santa Ana is seeking one contractor to serve as the designated operator for seven city-owned underground storage tanks containing gasoline, diesel, and waste oil at the Corporate Yard and Police Department. The scope includes 30-day inspections, annual and triennial testing, leak-detection and alarm response, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repairs, regulatory reporting, waste disposal, spill response, and annual in-person training for City facility employees. The contractor must furnish required replacement parts and supplies, provide service documentation, and respond within specified timeframes for emergency and non-emergency requests. Proposers must have at least four years of similar municipal underground storage tank operator experience; a California Class A General Engineering Contractor's License; current California UST System Operator and Technician certifications; and Veeder-Root or Franklin Fueling EVO certifications. The proposal must include a statement of qualifications, work plan, cost proposal, and required certifications and forms. The agreement is anticipated to have a one-year initial term with up to four additional one-year extensions, for a maximum term of five years.
