Description
Ocean County is seeking qualifications from a licensed diagnostic imaging facility to provide comprehensive virtual autopsy services for the Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office under a one-year contract effective January 1, 2027. Assigned physicians must provide on-call coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and complete virtual autopsies within 24 hours of death when required. The successful vendor must have at least two years of virtual autopsy experience and comply with applicable federal, New Jersey state, municipal, and county requirements concerning deceased persons. The scope includes limited CT scans of the brain, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis; limited MRI scans of the brain, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis; and radiographic skeletal surveys for children age 10 and younger, consisting of at least 22 films in accordance with ACR practice guidelines. Responses must describe assigned personnel's experience, education, licenses, certifications, staffing support, and ability to perform timely work; include four professional references, a complete rate schedule, a Certificate of Insurance, and all required Vendor Questionnaire documents. Proposals will be evaluated on personnel qualifications, relevant experience and references, understanding and ability to perform the scope, office location, and completeness of the submission.
