Description
The California Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting bids for mobile diagnostic radiology and ultrasound services at the Veterans Home of California. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, imaging procedures, interpretations, reports, quality assurance, radiation-safety expertise, and related administrative support. Radiology services include chest, abdominal, extremity, spine, pelvis, facial-bone, skull, and rib imaging. Ultrasound services include cardiac, Doppler, echocardiogram, thyroid, vascular, abdominal, pelvic, and other listed procedures. Routine services are required Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding state holidays, with a one-hour response and on-site service requirement. STAT services must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with arrival within two hours and results within four hours. The contractor must provide a web-based results portal, protect protected health information in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state requirements, maintain qualified California-licensed or certified providers, support prior authorization and insurance billing, and provide required medical records, certifications, and reports. Bids must cover the entire activity and use the mandatory Bid Rate Sheet; the State does not guarantee any specific service volume.
