Description
Sam Houston State University is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from civil engineering firms to provide as-needed services for facility planning, renovation, and construction projects. The scope includes pre-project planning, estimating, programming, studies and reports, existing-condition documentation, preliminary and final design, drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, construction administration, on-site construction inspection, project management, and program management. Firms may use architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other subconsultants as needed. The resulting indefinite-quantity contract will have a two-year initial term with one additional one-year extension option, and the total contract value will not exceed $500,000 per contract year. Respondents must submit a Statement of Qualifications addressing firm qualifications, financial stability, assigned personnel, relevant past engagements, references, quality assurance, cost and schedule management, and best practices. A completed VETHUB Subcontracting Plan and signed Execution of Offer are also required. The qualifications package is limited to 50 printed pages, excluding the cover, table of contents, divider sheets, VETHUB Subcontracting Plan, and Execution of Offer.
