Description
Navajo Technical University is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed, and experienced construction contractors for a new Student Plaza at its Crownpoint campus. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, testing, coordination, cleanup, and other services required for complete construction in accordance with the RFP, drawings, and specifications. The scope includes mobilization, site preparation, demolition where shown, excavation, grading, compaction, concrete flatwork, sidewalks, plaza paving, curbs, stairs, ramps, site furnishings, benches, tables, landscaping, planting, irrigation, electrical infrastructure, site lighting, outlets, drainage and stormwater improvements, ADA-accessible routes, EV parking, an outdoor stage, pedestrian controls, safety measures, restoration, punch-list corrections, warranties, and closeout documentation. Proposers must submit firm qualifications, project-team information, a construction approach, preliminary schedule, at least three comparable completed projects from the past five years, references, and a detailed lump-sum cost proposal. The solicitation also requires evidence of bonding capacity and insurance; final insurance and bonding limits will be incorporated into the contract documents.
