Description
The City of Waco is soliciting recurring grounds-maintenance services for water, wastewater, and WMARSS facilities and remote properties. The scope includes mowing, shredding, edging, weed eating, grass trimming, mulching, blowing, and removal of grass clippings, trash, and debris. Work covers treatment plants, towers, pump and lift stations, metering stations, wetlands, railroad rights-of-way, dams, and other listed sites, with specified seasonal frequencies and additional cuts as needed. Chemicals may not be used, and each mowing or shredding event must be completed within 48 hours of starting at a site. The contract is an annual contract renewable for four additional one-year terms by mutual agreement, with mutually agreed price increases limited to 6%. The first round of mowing/work must be completed within 15 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must provide equipment, maintain City-provided access locks, upload before-and-after photographs for each site through Projectmates, and submit completed pricing and required bid forms with the response.
