Description
The National Research Council of Canada requires a customized, advanced, hands-on biomanufacturing operational training program for Clinical Trial Material Facility staff. Training must be delivered in person at a Montreal-area facility with a clean-room or comparable GMP-compliant environment and access to pilot-scale equipment for bioreactor operations, chromatography systems, and tangential flow filtration. The program must focus on GMP best practices and the production of monoclonal antibodies and other biotherapeutics, and must be customized to NRC's operational requirements. The contractor must deliver two customized three-day cohorts for 16 to 20 total participants, provide two qualified instructors with direct industrial biomanufacturing experience, track attendance, provide a post-training feedback summary, and issue completion certificates. The training must use National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) materials, methodologies, curriculum, and simulation-based learning, with the required authorization or licensing. Respondents must submit a statement of capabilities demonstrating compliance, including at least five years of experience providing GMP-compliant biomanufacturing operational training. The notice identifies CASTL Canada Inc. as the pre-identified supplier under an Advance Contract Award Notice and permits other qualified suppliers to challenge that proposed award by submitting capabilities.
